There are plenty of jobs that have not been listed that will become obvious as the project progresses.
Time and Love
As you may imagine, the pub building and outside space needs a little time and love injected into it. There are plants growing from areas that they shouldn’t be and the car park needs a little attention. The building needs a complete work over.
A lot of the community put their thoughts forward via the Community Survey that was undertaken in September 2023, ideas varied from running a café in the mornings and a community shop. These ideas, as well as the work needed to make the Swan look more attractive, can be done with the help of volunteers.

Once the community has completed the purchase of the Swan we will be announcing some community volunteer days for the big spruce up.
